As a web developer, Ryan has had the opportunity to work with some of the biggest online retailers around and design their marketing tools, shopping cart interfaces, systems integrations, e-commerce platforms, and search engine optimizations. Ryan was also an early pioneer in memes and ASCII art creating some truly regrettable bits of internet history.   In addition to developing amazing web sites and earning the most sheepskins on the Iconology team, Ryan happens to be a Doctor, Father, Husband, Mountain biker, Fly Fisher, and Stoic Philosopher.

Phil Lockwood

Phil was working as a night security guard when Netscape kicked off the dotcom boom with its IPO. During one of his security rounds, he found a thick HTML book lying on a table. For the next 3 nights, he picked it up and worked through every page, resulting in the creation of his first website. Fast-forward through several years of more formal education with Macromedia/Adobe (to learn ColdFusion), Lotus (Notes/Domino), and Sun Microsystems (Java), and he had secured a role as a senior consultant for an international technology firm and established himself as one of the leading web marketing experts in Colorado. He's led campaigns for the Denver Broncos, Frontier Airlines, Vail Resorts, Atkins, Rubbermaid, Dish Network, Shell Oil, Molson Coors, Oxiclean, and hundreds of other clients across all industries. Today, he splits his time between digital strategy, conversion optimization, and growth hacking, always focused on generating maximum results with minimal cost.

Brandon Wheatley

Anastasia spent 25 years working in advertising agencies large and small in NY, Boston, and Chicago, with every type of client from Fortune 25s to tiny startups, in every industry you can imagine.  She digs people - so she is fascinated by motivators, buying behaviors, insights and information.  She started, built, grew, and subsequently sold the Denver agency, Agency Zero, and has been working as a strategic planner for the past two and half years.  She loves consumer and product research, brand platform development, insights that drive businesses, and smart thinking that transforms brands.  She has worked on global brands like McDonald's, Royal Caribbean, and Philip Morris; national brands like SmashBurger, Giordano's, and CloudTen; regional brands like Rocky Mountain Health Plans, and local brands like Sundance Helicopters.  She is a certified Kolbe Instructor (another testament to her love of people, teams, and personalities) and an EOS Implementer in her spare time, helping entrepreneurs get what they want out of their businesses.  She loves great wine, blue skis, hiking in Colorado, and dreaming the Stanley Cup dream for the Buffalo Sabres.

Jeff Maciolek is a senior writer at Iconology and exercises his versatility, quick wit and strong conceptual skills to write and create marketing communications materials for a diverse range of clients. Originally from Boulder, Jeff has turned down jobs in Baltimore, Colorado Springs and Minneapolis to stay in Denver and work for many of the top advertising agencies right here instead. His unique and quietly impressive portfolio consists of award-winning work for everything from fast food and fast cars, to financials and fun. Jeff's lengthy list of clients includes: McDonald's, the Colorado Lottery, Cadillac, Dreyfus Founders Funds, The Denver Newspaper Agency, Steamboat Resort, Park City Mountain Resort, Great-West Healthcare, Globus & Cosmos, Regis University and dozens more. Jeff holds a BS degree in Journalism from the University of Colorado. His hobbies include skiing, golf, ice hockey, playing the drums and toddler wrangling.

Some people just know what they want to do from an early age. Brandon was one of those types. In high school, when his peers were vegging out in front of the TV watching teenage delinquent cartoons, he was actually creating animations and other short videos. This irrepressible passion led Brandon to art school, where he honed his skills and turned his love of designing and moving pictures into a tool of capitalism. Once out into the real world, he spent the next 15 years working at Starz Entertainment and a few boutique ad agencies. During all those years, he had the privilege to work on such well-known accounts as Audi, North Face, T-Mobile, Toyota, Copper Mountain and many others. His reel ranges from the beautifully esoteric to polished corporate pieces to the deliciously bizarre.  Brandon received his associate degree at the Art Institute of Colorado in 2003. In his spare time he loves pushing his knowledge of the newest animating and editing software. Yeah, the passion still burns brightly in this one.
